how to be happy and stress free.

I'm not going to have a magic potion or spell or some sort of miracle to make your life perfect and let you bet forever happy. These are just a couple of things you can do to make your day and make you a little happier!

1. Find something that makes you happy and calm - for me, when I listen to music, especially acoustic, I just find my worries simply floating away. For a lot of people, music is very calming but if it's not for you, try anything like meditation, yoga or even art.

2. Have some 'you' time - for a couple of minutes, or even an hour, just spare some time for yourself. Light some candles and do anything you find relaxing - read a book, watch a film or even take a nice warm bubble bath!

3. Smile - it's so simple, just smile. Studies have shown that however you're feeling, if you just smile, you'll feel elevated. Even a small smile can make someone else's day.

4. Go out and socialise - sometimes we just want to be ourselves when we're upset but it's amazing how good company can completely change our mood.

5. Don't lose sleep over it - I know that whenever I'm upset, I always overthink it before I go sleep and I end up hardly getting any sleep because I'm worrying so much! If you are finding it hard to get to sleep, try putting a couple of drops of lavender oil on your pillow case and you will have a lovely nights sleep.
