tips for saving money for gift buying.

Christmas may be 3 months away but I can guarantee that time will fly past! I always try to get Christmas presents a couple of months before Christmas because I hate those mad rushes in shops a couple of weeks before Christmas so it's so hard to find anything and secondly, because some shops make everything crazily expensive during Christmas. It's definitely worth to take advantage of the sales but for things that can't be bought in shops or are very limited, it's best to get it before Christmas.

1. Use discounts/vouchers - (I did a post on this last week) It's really easy to get hold of vouchers that can be posted/emailed/on websites, etc. Getting a discount on things bought online is a quick and easy way to save money.

2. Buy and sell - selling old presents or things you don't need on eBay, Amazon, Gumtree, etc is a great way to earn money to buy new things.

3. Do your research before you buy - always check for offers or discounts on websites before buying something. Usually products are cheaper on other websites rather than their own, eg. a brand might be cheaper in a drugstore/high street shop rather than the brand's website.

4. Ditch expensive cards for cheaper alternatives - I know that during Christmas/New Year time, I get loads of cards and I give quite a lot too. Since a lot of people will bin the cards next year, why not cut back on the costs and get them cheap at a pound shop or shops like Tesco.

I hope you found this useful! :)
