get organised for school/college/university.

At the beginning of the academic year, most of us are super organised but as it gets closer to the end of the year, we start to become less and less organised.

(Source: we heart it)

Here are some simple ways to stay organised throughout the whole year:
~ use folders and ring binders to file any handouts or worksheets you get from the teacher
~ write in a diary/planner what homework you have, when it is due, etc.
~ at the end of the school day, write out a summary of what you have learnt in a notebook so you can look back on it at revision time (tip: use a notebook with dividers or get separate notebooks for each subject)
~ if you don't understand something, ask the teacher during class or if you're shy, write it down so you don't forget and approach the teacher at the end of class
~ highlight or underline key points in your work, make this more fun by using different colours
~ do extra research after class or read about the next topic you'll be studying, not only does this keep you on top of everything but it impresses your teachers too!

I hope you find these tips useful! Just remember, after all the months of revision, it will always be worth it in the end.
