autumn skincare routine.

In Autumn, I tend to slightly switch up my skincare routine to help keep my skin hydrated in the cold London months.

In the morning, I wash my face with Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub and after, I moisturise with Boots Botanics Calming Day Cream. That's really it for the morning.

In the night, I'll wash my face again but this time I only wash it with water since if I wash my face too much, I get a lot of spots, weird huh? I then again moisturise with the same Boots Botanics Calming Day Cream. On in the night, if I notice any spots on my face, I use the Clean & Clear Advantage Spot Treatment directly onto the spot. 

Twice a week, instead of using a scrub, I use the Garnier Pure 3 in 1: Wash, Scrub and Mask. I actually only use this as a mask because I think it's the nicest mask I have ever used, seriously. 

Also, twice a week, I use the Neutrogena Spot Stress Cleansing Lotion. I put this onto a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face to remove dirt, oil and impurities. I don't use this everyday because I find that my skin freaks out and I get massive breakouts. 

As you can tell, I don't use a lot of products on my skin because 1) I don't have the time in the morning/I can't be bothered and 2) for my skin, and my hair too, less is more as it gets oily throughout the day, even though it's pretty dry. I don't cleanse and tone my skin for the same reasons and I don't think I've ever found a cleanser or toner that I can use daily without getting breakouts - it's great to have sensitive skin ugh.

I've seen this tag floating around the bloggersphere and youtube and I thought I should give it a go but with a skincare twist since I don't really wear make up!

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

My most inexpensive is probably my mosturiser, Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser which cost me £1 from the pound shop haha! I make it a general rule that I buy most beauty products from the high street so I don't have anything crazily expensive. It's probably my facial scrub/mask from Garnier Pure range. It only cost about £7 but its the only thing that costs more than what I usually spend.

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love-hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

I have a love-hate relationship with my Neutrogena pink grapefruit facial scrub because sometimes I feel it helps my skin but sometimes I think it's just a bunch of chemicals that's not helping my skin. I haven't really got a product that's been hard to get since I get most products from high street, nothing is really difficult to find.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

Definitely my Neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub, oh god, it smells of heaven.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness? 

Probably my Neutrogena spot stress control cleansing lotion because I can never be bothered to use it.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

My Avene mosturiser sample, purely for the fact that it hides most of my spots and blemishes.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Humour, definitely but not a mean kind of humour.

7. ENVY: What items would you like to receive as a gift?

Either the Clarisonic Mia or Loverdose by Diesel.
