For the last costume idea of my Hello Halloween segment, I'll be showing you how to get the simple costume of Velma from Scooby Doo!

For this costume, you will need:

~ glasses - £1.16 from ebay

~ turtleneck - £21 from stylepit

~ red skirt - £13 from asos

~ orange socks - £2.99 from ebay

~ red heels - £10 from ebay

For this costume, you need:

~ nerdy glasses - £0.61 from ebay

~ plaid/checked shirt - £17.99 from pull&bear

~ braces/suspenders - £2.30 from online-fancy-dress

~ high waisted skirt - £5.00 from asos marketplace

~ bow tie - £5.39 from amazon

~ brightly coloured/striped knee high socks - £1.75 from amazon

~ trainers/plimsolls - £1.99 from ebay

To complete the look, pull your hair back in a high ponytail or two ponytails and carry around a couple of textbooks/a rucksack on two straps.

If you're going for the 'sexy nerd' look, wear a plaid/tartan skirt that is pretty short but still modest!

If you prefer, you could swap red leggings for red tights instead! You could even paint your face bright white to complete the look.

I decided to start a new segment on this blog as it's coming up to halloween. The 'Hello Halloween' segment will have loads of costume ideas, party ideas and just things to do on halloween in general which I'll be uploading daily!

Today, I'll be showing you how to look just like Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games!

Firstly, the costume, you need:

~ black trousers/jeans/leggings - £22.99 from pull&bear (you can get a cheap pair of jeans from primark, etc but I particularly like these jeans from pull&bear)

~ brown leather/pleather jacket - £16 from forever 21

~ plain black top - £4.75 from forever 21

~ brown boots - £19.99 from shoezone

~ bow and arrow set - £10 from ebay

You can jazz up this outfit by stacking bracelets or adding a satchel bag.
